Our purpose is to help every individual recover and live independent, successful and fulfilling lives.

Highland Rivers is looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented, high energy Staff Accountant to join the Highland Rivers Behavioral Health Finance Team. The position is heavily focused on the general ledger aspect of the department however the ideal candidate will be able to provide coverage for all accounting duties.

The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment but also possess a strong independent work ethic, have excellent computer skills and follow-up skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is full time and reports directly to the Vice President of Finance.

Responsibilities:

Month end close entries and reconciliations
Fixed asset management
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist in analysis of various general ledger accounts
Assist in balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial statements
Assist in working with external and internal auditors to enable the timely execution of audit/review
Monitor cash flow
Perform backup for the A/P, A/R and payroll
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
Ensure all transactions are in accordance with GAAP
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Performs other related duties as assigned
