**Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions Finance is seeking a Project Accountant.**
The incumbent will primarily be responsible for the project accounting and project billing of time and materials projects for various international entities based out of Boeings Gdansk Poland office (Boeing Poland). The core responsibilities require working in the Enterprise Oracle R12 E.R.P. system and Excel, including data entry. Other responsibilities include documenting detailed desktop procedures and training to be ready as a backup for more complex project accounting and reporting responsibilities.
In addition to having working experience with Oracle and strong English-language communication, the ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, thrive in a culture of collaboration and have an interest for process improvement. We have a supportive and diverse team in Gdansk, in addition to a broader international team, and offer flexibility to telecommute to the Gdansk office some of the time.
The position will be located in Gdansk, in Poland Office. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, the work is done mainly remotely or in hybrid mode.

On Saturday, 12 March 2022, the President of the Republic of Poland signed a law to assist citizens of Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict in that country. As part of this law, Ukrainian refugees in Poland benefit from access to the Polish labour market. Boeing welcomes applications from Ukrainian refugees who are seeking employment in Poland.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Working across various systems, upload and execute recurring project costing and billing system and manual processes.
+ Working with various partners to resolve system and process fall-outs and issues.
+ Prepare and post journal entries and G/L to sub-ledger reconciliations.
+ Update system data tables.
+ Create and reconcile project invoices and ensure timely management approvals and follow through on final settlement.
+ Prepare detailed desktop procedure documentation.
+ Train as backup for all critical accounting and reporting processes.
+ Make process and system improvement recommendations.
+ Support a major system implementation project, as required.
+ Complete work independently but also take direction from the Poland Senior Project Accountant.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ 3+ years experience in an Accounting role .
+ Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel.
+ Intermediate skills with a major E.R.P. system, like Oracle Financials .
+ Business-level English communication, both written and verbal.
+ Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree.
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ Experience as a Project Accountant.
+ Experience with Oracle and specifically the Oracle Projects Module.
+ Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex ideas in a succinct and comprehensible fashion to both financial and non-financial audiences.
**Typical Education and Experience** :
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Masters degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Relocation:** This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate office area or relocate at their own expense.
