Job SPECIFICATIONS

Job Specification

The Corporate Financial Reporting Accountant 2 will support the accounting and reporting requirements of the corporate controller's function, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting. This position will oversee the consolidated monthly closing process, including preparing and recording journal entries, financial analysis, monthly financial reporting for management and bank reporting as needed. The Corporate Financial Reporting Accountant 2 will also assist with the timely and accurate preparation of the Company's consolidated financial statements reported in the SEC Forms 10-Q/K and external lenders reporting requirements.

Participates in the consolidated monthly closing process, including preparing and recording journal entries, financial analysis and preparation of monthly financial statements
Prepares analysis and supporting documentation for various quarterly and annual footnotes and MD&A disclosures
Collaborates with financial accountants, entity controllers, and other departments (e.g., legal, treasury, tax, FP&A) to ensure timely input on financial reporting matters/disclosures
Ensures compliance with SOX controls on a monthly basis as assigned
Interfaces with external and internal audit departments on various accounting, financial reporting, and internal control matters
Constructs certain annual subsidiary financial statements and responds to audit inquiries
Assists with composition of annual benefit plan financial statements
Aids with ongoing improvements and automation of financial reporting processes
Reviews government census reports prepared by Tech Mahindra (third party accounting service)
Performs ad hoc analysis and/or projects as needed
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3 years' experience in public accounting (Big Four or second tier), corporate financial reporting, or SEC reporting, preferably with international exposure
Experience with HFM and Smart view preferred
Experience with SEC reporting tools, such as Workiva preferred
Strong knowledge of cash flow and foreign currency reporting
Ability to effectively communicate across various levels of a global organization
Highly organized and diligent about completing tasks on-time and with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work under the pressure of reporting deadlines and exhibit agility when necessary
Must be a self-starter with eagerness to follow up on open issues
Proficient Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and look-up functions
