**Unit Description**
**Sodexo Corporate Services** is looking for an **Executive Chef 1/Sous Chef** to join our team at one of our accounts in Smithfield VA!. The current food landscape is 1 corporate cafe with 5 stations and catering operations. We are a M-F Operation that serves Breakfast and Lunch.
The **Executive Chef 1/Sous** **Chef** will report to the GM/Chef Manager. The **Executive Chef 1/Sous Chef** will provide leadership within the culinary operation. Other duties will include:
+ Menu planning
+ Ordering and inventory
+ Provide leadership to the hourly staff of 6
+ Catering
+ Safety and sanitation
+ hands on in the kitchen about 90% of the time
Ideal candidate will be computer savvy as Sodexo utilized several web based tools for Ordering, Inventory, Payroll, Safety, Purchasing, Catering and Payroll.
This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule plus some early evenings for catering. **Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.**

**Qualifications & Requirements**
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
