Job PREREQUISITES

ACCOUNTANT - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE - - fulltime specialty medical practice part of large network. Company bringing accounting function back in house.
**DIRECT HIRE**
**ONSITE IN BEGINNING WITH HYBRID SCHEDULE ONCE ACCLIMATED**

The Accountant is responsible for assisting with the month-end close process and assisting with the necessary business plans and related reporting/forecasting.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Perform general accounting duties including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, allocations, general ledger posting, etc.
+ Prepare month-end financial statements including all supporting documents and schedules
+ Prepare intercompany and external billings for reimbursement.
+ Assist with the annual business plan, annual budget, and cash forecasts.
+ Perform ad hoc financial analysis
+ Research and resolve accounting issues
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelors degree in business, accounting, or related field required. Equivalent years of experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree.Three years of experience in accounting is required. Experience in healthcare accounting preferred.
+ Working knowledge of QuickBooks required.Knowledge of basic accounting principles
